JB Palasini

Born in 1977, jb Palasini grew up in the Mississippi Delta. jb received a B.F.A. with an emphasis in painting from the University of Mississippi in 2000. After living all over the state of Mississippi, she moved to Atlanta, working as a full-time artist, muralist, and faux finisher. JB currently lives and works in the Illinois Valley in Southern Oregon.

JB went on the road for a stint working behind-the-scenes on 'Trading Spaces'. She has worked on projects in Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, New York, California, New Mexico, Arizona, and Oregon. jb has exhibited in Southside Gallery in Oxford, Mississippi, Ravenswood Gallery and Gogue Art in Oregon, and numerous group and independent shows across the country. Hurricane Katrina displaced jb from Ocean Springs, MS and brought her to Oregon in 2005, where she fell in love with the Northwest and decided to stay. She currently has a studio in Grants Pass and you can find her work displayed at Ravenswood Gallery in Cave Junction. Recent exhibits include The Axe & Fiddle in Cottage Grove, OR, The Bohemian in Grants Pass, and on set in Barnstormers Community Theatre's production of "The Nerd".
