These are samples of Josh's Glass Art. I make many different glass pieces such as wine glasses, sculptures and fine tobacco smoking pipes.

Josh Goins
Hand Blown Glass Artist

I have been making hand blown glass art since August 1, 1998. I learned the basics of glassblowing under an apprenticeship with Studio G in Grants Pass, Oregon. After completing my two year contract, I opened my own home-based glassblowing shop called One of a Kind Glass.

I make many different glass pieces such as wine glasses, sculptures and fine tobacco smoking pipes. I have also enjoyed spreading my knowledge to newcomers who want to learn. I have had at least a dozen students over the last 11 years coming from as far away as Virginia to learn to blow glass.

I find inspiration from my family and friends, other artists, nature, music and life itself. There are so many things to draw on when looking for inspiration as we live in one of the most biologicallly diverse places on the planet.

Glass is a fun and exciting medium. Anything can be made from glass and that is why I find it so appealing. There is no end to what can be created, so every day I blow glass is a new day, with new possibilities.

I've also worked with many other artists in my field and have been lucky enough to collaborate with them on many aspects of glass. Oregon, specifically, Southern Oregon, is a glassblowing mecca, with some of the world's top glassblowing artists living in the area.
